BNM and I were delighted to meet Julie Rocket at the XXXKaraoke. We instantly fell in love with her bubbly personality! As we chatted more....Olivia and Julie bonded over their love of DIY projects and Pinterest. Julie was already a Co-host of a Radio Show and expressed their interest in adding another female perspective. We decided to try out the show and found we fell more in love with the talent everyday. How are you today?
Doing well, always thinking of the next thing to promote, shoot, etc. while balancing home life and keeping myself balanced.
What have you done so far, what are your plans after the interview?
I have started my own radio show, Rocket XXX Radio which is featured on the Demonseedradionetwork.com an internet radio show where we first and foremost have FUN! Other than that I’ve been working on trade content here and there, did a scene for scalebustinbabes.com and I hope to do a scene with Plumperpass.com soon. And I would love to get into scenes with kink.com or do more fetish work with local people. And I am getting into the fetish wrestling scene, I have a mixed tag team partner @Vegashvt who is awesome! Where are you from originally, do you still live there?
Originally I am from Maryland, a little town outside of Washington D.C. Would love to visit the East Coast again, love it back there, but right now my home is here is Sin City Vegas.
What are you most passionate about?
I am most passionate about equality and tolerance for everybody. I feel that people should have the freedom to explore their personalities, desires, and sexualities and discover what they like and who they are. I want to break down the stigmas that society has put in place with sexuality, gender, etc. and show that if people are allowed to be themselves we can have a more tolerant society and less isolation and violence. I know it sounds cliché but if more people were open minded and allowed themselves and others the freedom to explore who they are they would find so many possibilities and become so much more interesting and happy with themselves.
Do you have animals?
Currently we have a black and white mixed terrier/pitbull named Zoe; she’s the sweetest and cuddliest dog. She loves snuggling with everybody.

How did you get into the industry and how old were you?
I actually started late in the industry, I am not one of the young starlets starting out now, I’m over 30, but I started out in the swinging lifestyle. We would visit the swinger clubs and one night I met Kimber Haven, one of the beautiful Tgirls from Bad Girl Mafia. She was amazed at my enthusiasm during our little blowjob show, and she suggested I go into porn and camming. I looked to hubby, we talked about it and decided, “Why not? It could be a fun adventure and make some money along the way…” and as they say the rest is history.
Have you had any setbacks? Do you have any advice for us in how to avoid these issues, or what you’ve learned from these setbacks?
It’s been difficult; I don’t always have enough time to devote to this side of me, so it hurts when you can’t promote your brand 24/7. I’m limited on my traveling so I can’t attend a lot of the conventions which help in getting your name out there for the bigger gigs and increasing your fan base. But we are still having fun, of course it’s always nice to have more money to invest in yourself, but we gave ourselves the stipulation that when it stops being fun then we’ll find some other adventure to start.
What is your goal within the industry?
Right now we want to promote our radio show, and eventually we would like our Rocket Entertainment Productions to produce more content and recruit more talent so we can do more behind the scenes and still be connected to the Industry. We’ll see, we take it one day at a time and see what happens along the way…
You recently started RocketXXXradio, tell us a little bit about it.
The main goal of my radio show is to have FUN, for our listeners, our fans, guests, and sponsors. We interview porn stars, comedians, musicians, tattoo artists, and talk about everything, from sex (of course) to weed or which characters we would choose for a porno parody. We want to promote local talent, and create a positive vibe out there for everyone listening and have a good time. It’s your weekly sinfully sweet indulgence to chat with porn stars. Shout out to any sponsors that are out there, we would love to have you for our show, we reach almost half a million listeners weekly. It’s been so much fun and I can’t wait to do more episodes. What are your favourite scenes to shoot?
My favourite scenes lately have been doing the dominatrix type and edging scenes. I have had a lot of fun showing my wicked dominant side and edging guys and then leaving them hanging. LOL I am open to doing almost any kind of scenes and look forward to working with all varieties of adult starts out there.
Is there any scene in specific that you’ve really wanted to do but haven't yet?
I would love to try one of the hardcore bondage scenes with ropes and all sorts of kinky tools. Also, I would like to do more scenes with the transgender girls and transgender guys like Eddie Wood. I heard it was a lot of fun to shoot scenes with him. If he reads this, message me, I would love to work with you!
What is your guilty pleasure in your playlist right now?
Something you like to dance around to like nobody’s looking.
Hehe, some of the artists I have currently are Olly Murs, and the Pretenders, and Volbeat. I have a weird mashup of music depending on my mood.
If you could change one thing about the industry…what would it be?
I would definitely change the negative stigma it has, show people that it is a legitimate career and that we are regular people too. I also want to make a mandatory Porn 101 class, for those who want to go into the industry; tell them the actual work it takes and what it is and what it is not, so they don’t start something they have no clue about. Weed out those who think porn is easy work, it’s not!
